Celebration of Robert Kwame Johnson – aka- Bob J.
GAFTA in accordance with its mandate to promote high standards of professional practice in film and television production, started an event dubbed “GAFTA Legend Series Celebrations” in the Film and Television Industry where we exhibit and celebrate some of Ghana’s great contributors to professional practice in the film and television industry both living and posthumously.
Robert Kwame Johnson (Bob J.) was a founding of member and once the president of our Cinematographers Guild, one of the major filmmakers guild under GAFTA. The Cinematographers Guild of Ghana was put together to organise a front that will advocate, train and peer review works of cinematographers in the art of filmmaking. GAFTA believes that this is the right time to celebrate and honour one of the founding members of Cinematographers Guild of Ghana under GAFTA for his immense contribution to GAFTA and the Ghana Film Industry as a whole.
